Thieves got into my trailer in Missoula last year. They stole boots, optics, clothing, beer and about 5 lbs of venison jerky. Luckily it wasn’t a show stopper. We were at a Hilton affiliate right downtown.

I spoke with Jared this AM (very nice guy) he told me to send in the rifle and they will replace the stock, most likely with a Montana. But if an Adirondack is available he will use that. Fingers crossed.

I only use bags. No lead sled for me. And a Fat Wrench for assembly/disassembly. The Adirondack is an internal magazine, doesn’t the Montana have a removable magazine?

They informed me they could replace it with the Montana Stock but daggone it, I realize it’s not a custom rifle but the rifle was just purchased in 2018 brand new. Less than 200 rounds have been fired through it. You guys think I should just opt for the Montana stock?

I been loading 110 gr TTSX outta my X bolt for over 10 years now. I have killed a ton of deer with that load. This late deer season I shot two within minutes of each other. The doe piled up and the buck went about 100 yds, double lunged.

I have the Kuiu one and the Alaskan Guide Creations connected to the mini day pack. The day pack is great for small pieces of gear and a camel back bladder. The AGC also has a pouch for a rangefinder, which I tethered with supplied elastic cord for easy access.

Is there a stalk involved in this competition? Are you required to bring a ghillie? Grab some female hair ties for your rifle so you can “veg” up the gun with grass, if your doing a stalk.

I put Timney in all my 700’s. They are fabulous and are a breeze to drop in!
