I'm am having the same problem with varget in my 308. 99 fps ES. I don't get it. Case capacity was 53.5 with no more than .5 SD. Will be stepping the load up, velocity was pretty low for a 28 in tube.

Not passed 300 but I get a pack of ballons. Some 3" some 5" and some 8". Just walk around tying them up behind the house. Shoot some with a 22 lr, at 200+ it is fun. I may have 5-8 rifles laid out shooting ballons with them. Wish I had more range with that kind of convenience.

Upgrade it to a b&c or McMillan would be my recommendation. You may be able to bed it but I don't it will won't to hold.
