Blems or seconds are visual blemishes and also from machine set ups. If sorted by weight and bearing length can shoot very well. Do you have time to sort.that is the question.
Coal is according to Sammi chamber or magazine length. Better to find the lands first and start .020" shorter than that. In my experience vlds like to be close to the lands and typical match bullets work better .025 - .040" off the lands.
I decap, wash and anneal before loading. Annealing helps with neck tension and dries the cases. My de-cap die has the small (.059) pin. Decapped thousands of rounds haven't bent or broken yet. You can still use the expander button with out de-cap pin if you like.
I've had the same problem. It looks to me like there is too much space between the gas baffle and the back of the action. Use a feeler guage to determine the gap. If it is more than about .010" that may be the problem. I thought about glueing a shim to the front of the baffle or shortening the...
In South Africa you can walk into a hardware store and buy a suppressor screw it on your rifle and go hunting. In some European countries you have to be suppressed to hunt.
