Rl 15 is about the same burn rate as varget and will work for it but velocity will be a tad slow.

I decap, wash and anneal before loading. Annealing helps with neck tension and dries the cases. My de-cap die has the small (.059) pin. Decapped thousands of rounds haven't bent or broken yet. You can still use the expander button with out de-cap pin if you like.

Decapping pin would be the only difference.

I've had the same problem. It looks to me like there is too much space between the gas baffle and the back of the action. Use a feeler guage to determine the gap. If it is more than about .010" that may be the problem. I thought about glueing a shim to the front of the baffle or shortening the...

I would go with the tipped tsx. They work down to 1600 fps velocity . Good wound channel , good penetration. My $.02

I would guess between lungs and liver velocity too low to initiate expansion.
