Yes, it was purchased from Deutsche Optic. $499 plus $20 for shipping and handling. $519 total. It was a Grade A. The outside case is a little scratched but the rangefinder is in excellent condition. Everything works great. The 2 tripods that came w/ it work fine, I'm sure I read somewhere...
My gf just bought me a Wild Rangefinder and I was wondering if there was anyway to modify a camera tripod so I could use that instead of using the one that came w/ the rangefinder. It's heavy and so bulky. I read somewhere that someone bought a plastic or metal camera tripod and used that but...
Where do you guys seat your vlds in relation to the lands? I usually like to seat about .015 off the lands, btu ive been reading about people having the best luck jammed into the lands, suggestions will be appreciated.
What is the minimum extreme spread and maximum standard deviation that you guys look for in a keeper load?
I have a load that shoots 2 inch groups at 500 yards, but has a high SD, 17 to be exact. This load would be great if it wasnt 55gr Nosler BTs at 4300fps. They dont have the stomp past 400...

Does the bullet stop upon impact with the ground or does it richocet and continue on its merry...
After searching through the posts on the wild rangefinder, I noticed some people bought different grades, such as A,B, and C. Where on the deutche optik website do you specify the "grade" you want. They only list the price as $500.
I guess this is directed toward darryl cassel because i know he shoots the 8.5-25*50mm LR leupolds but also to anybody else who shoots them. What is the maximum distance that you all can see 338 caliber bullet holes with these scopes?
Does a person need a custom action BAT or Hall giant if he wants to build either a 338 RUm or a 338/416 rif imp? Will a standard remington magnum action work and yield good accuracy and if it wont, why not?
I was shooting my rifle the other day (6mm ack) with 107 gr mks, and at 4 and 500 yards it was slinging 4 inches of horizontal dispersion in a 5 shot group, but only an inch and a half of vertical dispersion. Is the bullet not stable?? I normally shoot 55gr bal tips and they shoot 1.3" at 400...
