Mean my buddy went out a few days ago after some song dogs. this female showed up at exactly 450yds. The 22-250 sent the 45gr JHP right into her upper back abdomen area just in front of the hind quarter. A finishing shot was needed. It is his longest kill to date.

+1 on that comment. For coyote hunting, I think a 3-9x scope is enough. Most of your calling situations are going to result in shots under 300yds.
