I am sure. They probably want you to clean it before you polish it? Its red because of iron oxide, like jewelers rouge. These two compounds get confused all of the time!!!

Not sure if everyone is on the same page. JB bore bright red jar is very abrasive. JB bore compound blue jar is not, and is the common cleaner with kroil.

Here is one I just ran accross.

I am also a user of JB blue with my cleanings. The rifle is true fired brass is concentric etc. After deer season is over here we will do more extensive testing. I shot a whitetail with it Saturday and again the bullet performance was amazing.

What barrel length and twist?

We don't look for max either, but 15000 psi is quite a spread. We shot 6 traces all different and they matched up like you would expect. I'm happy how it shoots so I probably wont go any higher.

I do not yet have the file from the trace but did get to see it. It is very interesting. 49830 psi with 81.5 grains of rl33 2985fps. The trace is text book for a great trace but lower pressure than I would have thought considering how the brass is coming out. I tried bigger loads but didnt...

Yes I will measure capacity. We are also going to run pressure traces on it today just to get a better idea of the actual pressure. Who knows whats going on. Gun is clean, I did notice my brass is at the minimum dimension's listed by SAAMI. Its a new SAAMI spec reamer, and throat was cut...
