Been shooting 600 yards using a Vortex PST. I want to move up in scopes to either a NightForce or March. Recommendations for 1st or 2nd focus plane? Reticle power magnification? Would like to shoot 1000 yards. Thanks

I just bought a Vortex PST and I have vortex rings and mount coming, but right now I put on Lepo mount and rings. I have shims in there and they are not tight...I did exactly as vortex said to do, but I can't get a full rotation on my turret. Could the mount and rings have anything to do with this?

Currently, I am reloading a 6.5 x 55 Berger Bullet with a 140 grain VLD using IMR 4350. The book states that my load at 41.1 g should be 2675 fps but I am only getting an average of 2511 on 10 shots. It is an accurate load. It this acceptable? Thanks,
