What is the longest shot you have made on a live target

343 yards on a hog last week, pretty far for the thick Texas brush, haha

Revic BLR 10b vs Sig Kilo 10k

This isn't what you were asking, but the Leica's glass is absolutely beautiful. It doesn't show up the results as quickly as the SIG though

First day with Norma 143 Grain Bondstrike Ammo

That's awesome to hear, I was sure the BC was wrong. Good stuff. Excellent performance on hogs so far

    6.5 Bondstrike experience

With factory Norma 6.5 Creedmoor Bondstrike, devastating kills on hogs at ranges from 30 to 120 yards. Very good killing bullet and hogs are hardy animals. No data yet at impacts at longer range. Some of the hogs we hit with it looked like they had been hit with a big rifle

    ZCO and Swarovski

This is a great question, when I didn't use a thermal, really clear glass made a world of difference to hunting after dark. Swarovski Z8i glass is absolutely stunning. I've not looked through the ZCO. Actually one of the chief considerations for night shooting in addition to clearness of...

338 Lapua Improved yea or nay?

Can you fire regular 338 Lapua ammo through an improved barrel? Any issues? Same accuracy?

    6.5 PRC rifle decisions

I'm sure those are all great options, but after spending time with a bunch of different rifles I'd go with a Tikka or the X-Bolt. Once you get used to a slick, 70 degree bolt like a Tikka, they are so much more convenient than a 90 degree bolt. All my current rifles for my and the family are...

    Savage Impulse Mountain Hunter

You can't go wrong with a Tikka, lightweight, super slick bolt, 70 degree throw. You'll have a much more refined product and pride of ownership with a Tikka. I have owned some very expensive rifles, and a Tikka, to be honest, is just as good as a $4500 German rifle I had once.

Browning x bolt muzzle break 300 RUM

I have a nice radial brake on my Blaser R8 RUM, similar to the Browning, and not only is it quieter than some of the other "more effective" brakes, it does a really nice job on taking the sting out of the recoil. The Browning also has an excellent butt pad, so I'd shoot it some more and see if...

Tikka t3x roughtech vs savage 110 ultralight vs christensen ridge line vs bergara b 14

The advantage of the Tikka over the Bergara, is the Tikka has a 70 degree bolt lift vs the 90 degree on the Bergara, correct? I sure wish the Bergara would make a 60 or 70 degree bolt.
