I love my 257Wby. It would be one of the last to ever leave my safe. With 100gr Barnes bullets, I'd hunt anything on earth that wouldn't hunt me back. I also own a 240Wby I plan to try out next season. If I were buying another Wby caliber, it would probably be the 7mm. Great bullet choices...

I've only killed one deer with my 270, and I used 130 gr NBT. The shot was at 250yds, entered between the last 2 ribs and exited behind the off shoulder. Dropped at the shot with tremendous blood loss. The only 150gr NBT I've ever used was in a 7mm Rem Mag. That shot was 633yds and also DRT...

I love all my 25's. I have a 25-06, 25-06AI, and a 257Wby. Never needed more than one shot on a deer with any of them. My longest is about 300yds with a 110NAB, but saw one of my friends take a doe at 515yds with a 115 Berger. 25's just seem to kill all out of proportion with their size.
