I hear that, we use the Hoover meplat trimmer tool to check base to ogive as well. I You can mount your caliper to the tool and check base to ogive & rebate to ogive a lot quicker. Use the Stoney Point on the rebate.

If you want to check Jacket thickness you need a ICC Comparator made buy Vern Junke however he no longer makes them. That being said I have such a tool that checks jacket thickness & GC. If you wish I can check your bullets for you?
