How did you find us here at LRH.com?

I just did a Google search on long distance shooting and found this site. A great place to find really useful info, also alot of great people on this site. I do not post much, but I have definitely learned from selective "lurking", LOL

    7mm STW

I like a 150 grain Accubond in my 7mm STW. I have a Weatherby Accumark and this seems to be the best load for my rifle that I have found so far. The Winchester 160 grain Fail-Safe factory load also grouped well in my rifle. I can consistently get sub MOA with these loads, with the occasional...

    Butler creek flipup question

The Leupold Alumina Flip-Up covers will only fit the 2004 and newer model scopes. You can send in an older Leupold scope to the Leupold Custom Shop and have them retrofit the threads on your scope.

    Burris warranty repair!!!!

I also had a good experience recently with the Burris warranty department. I received a Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40 scope from a dealer on the internet and opened up the sealed box only to find that the scope had a very noticeable blemish on the finish near the adjustment housing. I emailed...

    Cleaning Rod and Bore Guide

I use a Dewey .22 cal Cleaning rod and a Stoney Point Bore Guide. I also got some extra bolt collars to fit my Weatherby and Sako rifles. This setup seems to be about the best that I could find.

    Near mfg. rings and bases

I have bought scopes and rings off of Ebay and have had no problem getting them shipped to Canada. Maybe it depends on how the seller fills out the customs forms? I did not even have to pay duty on them, just taxes and shipping.

    Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20 x50

I bought a 4.5-14x44 Zeiss Conquest on Ebay for $554. Great price and this power range in the Zeiss lineup still has lots of adjustment range. Of course I am sure you can get one for even less since you know a dealer.

What features do you want in a spotting scope.

My ideal spotting scope would be a straight body with a power range of 15-45. I also am not a fan of the super big objectives, probably go with a 60 or 65mm objective. I think the Zeiss Diascope 15-45x65mm would be a good scope to look at. This scope has super optics and is short and...

had it with chemical solvents? try an enzyme!

I am trying to find a dealer who stocks the Coppermelt as well. I live in southern Saskatchewan and cannot seem to find anyone who carrys it. You would think that since it is made in Canada that we would be able to find it here alot easier?
