I have the Tract 3-15X50 and have been very happy. It is clear, and appears to track well. I compared their binoculars to the Maven binoculars and really couldn't tell that one was better than the other. They were both excellent.
I would agree to stay away from the SST's. I have had great luck with the accubonds as far as accuracy and staying together. I have not shot an elk with them them but several whitetails and hogs and they work great. My brother shoots the partitions and really likes them
You might look into the tract brand. They only sell on line. They get great reviews, and the scope I have of theirs is very good. It is owned by a couple of guys that left Nikon
I have shot and hunted with arrows that are similar to what you have, for years and have killed many big game animals with this set-up. It may not be ideal for you and your situation, however. Arrows need to be properly spited for your draw weight, draw length, and broadhead weight. I...
Mine shoots good with the 143 ELDX about .5 -.6 for five shot groups - getting 2966 FPS. - I get a little better speed and accuracy with handloads, but would have no problem sticking with the factory ammo.
I have only put 35-40 rounds through my PRC but it shoots .5 with factory ELDX. I am loading up a few with the ELDX and H4831SC and will try some different seating depths to see if it does any better. The bolt on mine was not gritty but has been pretty slick to start with. I am impressed so far.
I ordered a Spartan 300 a couple of weeks ago and it is nice. Amazingly light and feels solid. I have not shot with it yet. Maybe next week...
I believe this is going to be a good answer for hunting.
