A rifle buffer tube doesn't have the detents for an adjustable stock. It's just a round tube.

You can shoot a 500 magnum round thru the right size pipe with a hammer and a nail. (One time)

All of the roller delayed design (HK Cetme etc.) destroy the brass due to the fluted chamber. It's only good for scrap.
