Sometimes, the high cost of manufacturing this item requires us to build a waiting list before the next production run is back on the shelf.
Some other thoughts: fully clean the chamber, ensure the gas block is aligned with gas port, via a piece of tubing blow down the gas tube from the inside of the receiver to make sure that the gas tube passage is not blocked and that you are getting clean flow all the way to the barrel bore...
I apologize, but when you said you just started reloading for it and you were shooting a ladder, I assumed they were handloads. Like @Darryle said, it could be many things. Because you mentioned you tried moving the gas block, I would verify the gas tube is properly aligned with the gas key...
It's possibly a headspace problem with your handloads. I had the same thing happen with my 6.8 a long time ago. You should probably get a case gauge to check everything is sized correctly.

If Midway is aware of the issue, why aren't they being more proactive and stating something on their site. It can't be too hard to change the home page to let people know. It seems like the least they could do.

Hodgdon Load Date has 3.290 and 68.8. I have found such differences in max charges lately even with current versions of manuals that I always start low and work up. Usually somewhere close to the middle.
