Hug your loved one call them if you cant

So very sad to hear of your loss. It's a tough one to lose the matriarch. I think of my grandma's who have passed on. They were (like yours) literally the sweetest women I will have ever known, the very people who gave us the glue that holds the family together. May your grandma rest easy, for...

    Have action need cartridge

In order to play this game I would first need to look at what weight bullet I wanted to play with and then what type of performance I was looking to get with the length barrel i want to use. Then I would chamber accordingly. I feel like without any sort-of performance perameters the...

    Disappointed in non-resident hunters

Point well taken. Except I'll see your divide and Conquer and raise you a strength in numbers. NR are putting out the numbers, both in the field (obviously residents feel it's overcrowded) and in the revenue department. There's no complaining about that, it's just what's happening. This is a...

    Disappointed in non-resident hunters

How is floating 50% of the departments annual revenue a "drop in the bucket"? Take that away and it cuts the departments revenue in half. The property taxes and groceries and land purchases made by residents are rather moot to the point being made. I'd venture to guess non of that offers any...

    Disappointed in non-resident hunters

Well I mean this in respect but I'm glad your checkbook doesn't speak for all Americans who wish to hunt the same public lands you do. You are most definitely entitled to your opinions and without a doubt I'm glad you are of the minority that has that kind of disposal income. But the majority of...

    Disappointed in non-resident hunters

More? How much more are you willing to pay? Would you pay $1200-1500 (or more) for a liscense and just a deer and elk tag for your home state? This doesn't allow you to hunt much else by the way. This would likely cost you a lot more since it seems overcrowding is what you're after? Reduce tag...

Could milling rings from 34 to 35 “Hawkins hybrids” show strength/integrity problems on larger calibers?

I never thought of that. I guess a quick call to them would help us determine which (if any) receivers the mount would fit. I'm assuming you're talking about their new lightweight mount? Not technically a set of rings? I wish they would have just made it a set of rings instead of a mount and...

Could milling rings from 34 to 35 “Hawkins hybrids” show strength/integrity problems on larger calibers?

I agree. Just looked into those gunwerks rings. But their site says they are no longer available.....let's go hawkins! Give us some one stop direct mounts for a mark5!!!

Could milling rings from 34 to 35 “Hawkins hybrids” show strength/integrity problems on larger calibers?

I sure hope they add 35s to their hybrid line. I for one prefer direct mounts on actions that don't have integral rails. Screwing your mounts to another piece that's screwed to the action seems a bit redundant IMO

Could milling rings from 34 to 35 “Hawkins hybrids” show strength/integrity problems on larger calibers?

That's interesting cuz they told me there wasn't a high enough need to make them in 35mm. Which is why referred me to another gentleman. There is also a company that I believe is from Australia (think but I could be wrong) that does them for tikka only. I have talked with them as well. Or maybe...
