    Leupold Scope Warranty Service

I bought a 7600 270 with a 3x9 Leupold on it. I don’t recall the model. The guy I bought it from was a drunk and a carpenter. He evidently felt that all adjustments needed to be farmer tight and screwed hard -right hand. He said he couldn’t hit anything with it it always shot way to the side...

    375 weatherby loads

Cans are so much better than brakes.

    375 weatherby loads

I put a suppressor on my 375 H&H AI, which chambers the 375 Weatherby cartridge. It had a break when I bought it.

    300 WM Dies/Brass Prep

My 700 Remington 300 Win Mag is accurate - shooting several loads under .5 MOA. The best load is right at .2 MOA. I don’t have to do much to get it to shoot well, including annealing. However, with other rifles I’ve had to do quite a few things to get them to shoot. In particular I have a 722...

    30_30 imp

I’d get a new barrel. I’ve chambered my own rifles it’s not hard. But I think the best plan is buy a 14” 30-30AI barrel and either keep or sell the 10” 30-30. Sell if money is the issue or keep if variety is important. I like many AI chamberings. The 30-30 AI would be a good one in a single...

    Bullet Construction vs Lethality

Most of the bullets for long range are really poor for closer range shooting.

    25 06

100 grain Hornady Interlock Flat Base has always been my go-to in the 25-06. Now that Hornady has abandoned this bullet, I'm looking at Partitions and Hot Cores. 100 Hornady Interlock Flat Base 9 ½ 56.7 Grain H4831sc .72 MOA out of my old ADL and .75 out of my Classic.

    Ruger #1 accuracy

You could buy this one and bore/chamber to 35 Whelen. There's plenty of barrel.

    Ruger #1 accuracy

But if someone believes this rifle is worth the $1,200 I have for it please send me a check. I’ll pay for shipping.

    Ruger #1 accuracy

Life’s to short to put up with that kind of accuracy.

    Ruger #1 accuracy

I looked at their group again it was 7/8” at 50 yards for 3 shots. They seemed to be proud of their group. I’ll never ever buy another Ruger.

    Ruger #1 accuracy

Yes, I’m aware of Rugers past. It is an early one. I feel they should have some responsibility for the poor product they sold. At least a reduced cost replacement barrel. But they are doing nothing. Grrr

    Ruger #1 accuracy

I ask them if they considered a 3/4” horizontal spread their idea of accuracy. BTW: the barrel looks like it has very few rounds shot in it.
