I absolutely agree, however I would include Chanlynn in the cut rifle barrel group. His barrels are top notch. I have a Chanlynn on my 7 RUM and a Brux on my newly rebarreled 7 rem mag. I would have put a Chanlynn on my 7 rem but the brux was faster to get.

I was running 86 grains of Retumbo with a coal of 3.840. This resulted in 3100 fps and no pressure. I have since moved to a 190 matrix and have been using hodgdon 869 powder since Retumbo was giving me only 3 loads on the brass. 869 seems to be better for brass life while giving 50 fps faster...
