I appriciate the effort! I did contact Beretta but haven't heard back yet. As far as guns on ebay you can get parts. Just not bolts and lower receivers because they make the gun go boom. :)

I don't think you can sell bolts or lower receivers on eBay. It's against policy.

So in the link Raz posted the bolt references 9.6. The barrel on my rifle is stamped 8". Do those two numbers corollate at all? Or are they two different measurements?

I looked up the serial and it came back as a T3 Varmint 223. Manufactured around 2005.

The other bolt was found in one of the gun safes. I've got all the safes and equipment in my garage. There were several duffle bags filled rather hastily but I'm pretty sure there aren't any bolts in them as I recently went through them all to sort out the ammo situation. I'll check again...

Hey guys. I've got an Savage Model 24 Over/Under (.223/12 gauge) with a broken plastic trigger guard. I've found plastic replacements on EBay but I'd rather spend the extra cash and upgrade it to an aluminum piece. Do they exist? If you know of any a link would be appreciated. Thanks!

So I just did another pass on the pile of brass in my garage. There is another bag of 284 but it looks different. The brass on the right is the one I just found and it also has a primer installed. The necks are obviously different. What is the difference between the two?
