My 7mm STW has one and yes they do work great.
The noise level is high and shooting prone or where there is a lot of loose material you need to be ready to close your eyes or wear shooting glasses.
I can shoot my STW with only one hand.
I had mine built from a Browning A Bolt 7mm Rem mag and used a 375 H&H magazine in it and synthetic stock with muzzle brake.
Not a very pricy deal and a great shooter even single handed.
I am going to be using Hornady 65gr V-MAX bullets and am interested in some loads that people have worked up to start at.
Had always used my 22-250 before.
Does anyone have any accurate loads using Hornady 65gr V-MAX?
I had been using my 22-250 but it is at my daughters now and need to work up something for my No1 6mm Remington.
