    Looking at O/U’s

I’ve tried about every o/u grouse hunting and my choice is a 26” 20 gaug. It’s by far the easiest to carry with enough horsepower to bring them down. 12 gauge was just too heavy. 28 gauge was a little weak (I thought) on WV grouse. ATN Thor 160 Thermal Vision Scope Purchase

I just purchased one and so far I like it. Is anyone else using one of these? I zeroed it in yesterday with hand warmers. Pretty cool how well they show up. So how do you get into shape???

My son is 6’3 and I’m 5’9. We grouse hunt some and I almost have to run to keep up with him and his long stride. I always start walking on a treadmill about a month before the season opens. It seems to really help.

6.5 Grendel With 90 Grain TNT

Has anyone tried the Speer 90 grain tnt in a 6.5 Grendel? I tried some in my AR and they are super accurate. I was thinking about using them for coyotes? Has anyone tried them for that? Also I have one box and have not been able to find any more. Any suggestions on where to look? Thanks

Blue thread loctite on scope rings or not

Hi. I have removed screws with red locative many times by taking a cigarette lighter or small propane torch and heating the screw for about 30 seconds. The heat softens it up enough that I can usually take the screw right out.

    Hi From NC

New member from foothills of NC. Thanks for allowing me in. I hunt deer locally and usually travel to Michigan and WV for grouse hunting with my son. I do a lot of shotgun shooting also. Skeet and Sporting Clays mostly.
