I used to have a stock Ruger 77V that was a .220 Swift. With a max load of H414 and a 52 gr Sierra hpbt this was a 10 shot one holer at 100 yards. With H380 it shot faster and would go to about .300 groups. I loved this gun, barrel lasted about 2300 rounds. It is now a .243Ackley Im.

Try Lapua Scenar 90 bullets. Am using in a 26" hart barreled Ruger 77 action, 243 AI. Am using 45gr. of H414, is 3/4" at 200 yards. Would like more info on different powders with same bullet.
