I managed to get everything I needed to start loading for my 243. The hardest part was the powder. None of the ones I researched and planned to get were in stock. Out of the few that were in stock and after a quick google search I got 2000-mr and r17 since others were using it with my calibers...

Alright can anyone explain to me how twist rate works and how a certain twist rate plays a role in what weight bullet it to use? I know that it spins the bullet to stabilize it but not sure how to determine what is right for me. And what the best twist for a .300win mag would be and shooting...
It just doesnt make sense to me. From what ive researched, the gains are not that outstanding. It would make sense, if it was a small improvement to the cartridge to gain that little bit extra emfff without gettin a whole new rig. But having to buy a completely new rifle to get minimal increased...

I wont shoot past 500yds with my 7mm-08 because the bullet drops between 60-70" or somethin like that. Can i get past that with a different caliber rifle or do i need to start reloding first?
