    My preference is something in the 7-11lb range, I consider 7lb to be a feather and don't need anything lighter. I wouldn't want a magnum under 9lbs and will happily hunt all day with a 11lb rifle in hand.

    Sure, less recoil but the high B.C 180s will still have less wind drift which which is the least predictable variable when looking for a first round hit.

    To me the Creedmoor is a very practical round, low recoil, good barrel life, easy to shoot accurately, a fast twist and useful bullet weight range.
