    6.5 Rifle Build

Southern Hunter, we are the same age but I'm coming up on a b-day. I think you spec'd out a very nice rifle, also agree with Feenix on the barrel. No affiliation on this very different rifle but it meets your criteria and more for $1500. Want it myself but have too many deer rifles now...

    6.5-7 PRC vs 6.5-300 PRC

Have an XP-100 bullpup, 19.75” bbl - 33” oal in 222 tightneck. Fun gun, crazy accuracy.

    6.5-7 PRC vs 6.5-300 PRC

Barrel lengths make a difference, trying a 15” beside a 16” on my XP100R’s for handgun hunting, deer only. Think I’m liking 16” for the 6.5 and 15” on the 7mm.

    6.5-7 PRC vs 6.5-300 PRC

The 264 Win Mag won't perform with even a 24" barrel, needs 26" plus imo. .284 barrels do a little better short but 30 cal and up does much better at 20-22" I have no experience with PRC's but a lot with the 6.5x284. It has a 66-68gr water capacity so close to a 6.5PRC. 6.5X284 with a 20"...

215 Berger, 210 ABLR, or 200 AB for elk inside of 600 yards, 300 PRC???

I agree that all three are good bullets but would definitely have the Accubond in the chamber. We tend to watch areas requiring a 300 yard and out shot but when pushed in rifle season we’ve shot bulls trying to run over us! The Accubond stands a chance of breaking both shoulders at woods range.
