My gun maker use to flute barrel but stopped because he said it weakens the barrel and it's life. But man they are so beautiful to look at. Has anyone experienced accuracy problems over time or after putting 1500 - 2000 rounds down the barrel?
Use the highest quilting bullet that you can find at close range. Many years ago i shot a mulely buck at 20 yards and then again at 15 yards and he keep running and i was going to shoot him the 3rd time but said to myself “you just shoot him in the front shoulder twice with a 7 mag”, he’s dead...
You need to practice and log your first shots so you know your cold bore weather it be high, low or left or right. It will be the same every time. Unless you have one of those guns that doesn’t move at all.
