I really like the 124 grain Hammers. I shot a Scimitar Horned Oryx with this bullet a couple of months ago. They have the thickest and toughest hide of any animal I have ever killed. One shot - he took 2 steps backwards and fell over.

I live only about 1 1/2 hrs from where I hunt. A couple of years ago I took my .223. The entire time I was there the wind blew horrendously. I did get my antelope but after that I left it at home and took something that will buck the wind better.

I use Barnes for both my 270 WSM and my wife's 270. 130 gr for deer and antelope, 140's for elk. I've never had one fail me. I've tried several different bullets, Barnes are my favorite.
