I have been using 16 to 1 lead to tin myself with hp bullets and soft points for a rather soft bullet, approximately 10 to 11 bhn. I have had good luck and performance with those, charged with 17.5 grains of 2400. No gas check just plain base bullet for many years. I just really enjoy shooting...

Try some Winchester Supreme in 34gr hp if you can find it. It has disappeared in my area. Good group with what you shot tho.

I agree 100%. At least use something with a 250 minimum grain bullet.

I like 7828 also for 120 grain bergers.

I like 7828 with 120 gr Berger in mine.
