You are so Right and I corrected the bullet type to ELD-M, as it is a match bullet. We cousin has been shooting the 338 caliber ELD-X 270 grain a lot as well and is happy with it's performance as well. No coffee and poor proofing of my comment. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.:)

This last Saturday, my cousin was out shooting his 338 Rum in the Oregon Cost Range. The temp was around 45 degrees, elevation 2700 feet, and partially cloudy. He hand loaded the Hornady ELD-X 385 grain Match bullet. Labradar result was 2912 fps at the muzzle. Powder was IMR 8133.
