Does anyone have the Savage Model 10 Predator rifle? What do you think of it? I was thinking of getting one 260 to try out a 6.5mm. Would anyone know what muzzle diameter it is and is it threaded? I'm also thinking about getting a suppressor later on. gun)

Howa and Weatherby Vanguards use the same stocks, I believe they use the same scope mounts though.

I have a 6BR....i love it! It's such a sweet round. Just make sure you go with a 1:8 twist barrel. For the 6BR a 1:10 twist will shoot the 75gr but is too slow to stabilize the heavier bullets (90+) with it. And the if you're looking for splat effect, it's not really gonna happen with it the...

I've had great luck with 75gr V-Max and imr 4831 or h4350. It has shot groups just under .3 with them. And massive damage, maybe not a good idea if you want to save pelts. With smaller whistle pigs almost being vaporized gun)

Kinda sounds like you already know what to do. Either keepit and get a different rifle for foxes or replace it completely. When I got started into hunting my dad was a pumpgun guy and I didn't handlea bolt to much to realize it was the way to go
