Best trail cam for the money?

Yes the Stealth camera is doing good for me. I've had it out since April, finally had to change batteries, being very conservative it had taken over 5,000 pictures. Mostly daytime pictures. I changed SD cards yesterday, it's on duty now. Talked to a DNR friend the other day, he...

Best trail cam for the money?

Well, I've checked around, finally decided on a StealthCam, G42ng, found it online for $115, shipping included. I also did see where the Browning's had a good review and the Moultries too. And some of the expensive cameras, but I'm not looking for picture to frame, and hate to tie up that...

Best trail cam for the money?

Well, I've asked a few of my friends in person, seems just about all of them have a different brand. As a rule, it's what was on sale! Seems the Stealth cameras are good, small and compact. Think $115 or so. Moultrie has one for $130 or so, shipping included. Another friend just...

Best trail cam for the money?

Guys, I've got an old Moultrie trail cam, it works good but will eat up batteries like there's no tomorrow. It takes 6 D-sized batteries, heavy enough to use for the boat anchor too. I know that trail cams have improved over the years, so many different ones on the market. What's the best...

    .257 Whitetail Hunting Bullets.

Well, let me ask which .257 bullets you tried in your 25-06. And the number of deer involved. Range etc. It takes more than just a few kills to make a decision.

This is my buddy Chris, with his first deer. That was 12/29/12.

Shot my 1st deer with a suppressor this season

Very good. Now, is your deer season still in? WV's doe season ended 12/31/14. A friend of mine is stuck using a chair, he's 30 some. Chris bagged his first deer season before last. I've had him out several times, just nice to see him (and you) get out and enjoy the outdoors. Stack em up!

    .257 Whitetail Hunting Bullets.

I've watched the video, our deer are a little bigger than antelope. I can't tell for sure, but it looks like the pronghorn was shot high on it's shoulder/spine, or in the neck. ??? With a shot like that, I'd feel comfortable with the 90gr's I've been shooting. I'm curious if that 80gr made...

Favorite powder for the 25-06 Remington.

I know that powders have changed over the years, but the only powders I've used in my 25-06 were ww760 and H4??? I'm not sure? I checked on Nosler's "load chart", data and neither powder was listed in their tests. I know that they'll work, and both powders are listed/tested with heavier...

    Remington Model 721

Guys, a while back I bought an M 721, it's a 30-06. The gun needs a good cleaning, otherwise it's in good shape. I'm just curious, what can a feller do to the trigger? I've never taken the stock off, yet. Does it adjust similar to a M700 trigger? It's an old rifle, I'll bet it's never...

Favorite powder for the 25-06 Remington.

Guys, I've been out of the reloading business for a while, around 15 years (my daughter took over my loading room, as a darned bedroom) Had to take it all down. Now she's at college, I'm taking it back. And a lot has changed in those 15 years. Tell you what I'm looking for, I need to work...

    .257 Whitetail Hunting Bullets.

Well, I've had a couple friends recommend the 100 gr Partition, I can't find it listed in my catalogs. The 115gr Partitions are listed. And another friend shoots 100 gr X=bullets. He's killed a pile of deer with it. I looked on Nosler's website, looking at their E-tip bullet. 100 gr. I...
