How fast can corrosion happen? I saw what looked like corrosion inside some necks on some 223 brass, but I don't think it was loaded for more than a week before shooting. Could it be corrosion in between loadings? Not that those particular shells were not loaded for very long either.

What powder did you end up using?

Personally I'd go suppressor and am, Ultra 7. Currently nearing the end of my semi custom tikka 7SAUM build. Plenty of cheaper options for scopes that will get the job done. However, sounds like you're wanting that March pretty bad. It might be that you need to look at a different suppressor...

That sounds like a sweet build. I love my Tikka 25-06 and I've wondered about a fast twist for these newer heavier bullets. Will it be a sammi spec chamber or do they get throated longer?

A friend with a Tikka T3 300wsm just had his threaded, had to do the 1/2-28 wasn't enough for the 5/8 thread.

Have to agree with the load in 1gr increments find pressure and back off 1gr. process. I did that the first time loading hammers in my 6mm rem and ended up with a .8" group. I tried another lower gr load and it was a 4" group.

If you check out the hammer bullet reloading forum, Steve the owner, has a pretty simple way to work up loads. I'm pretty new to reloading and its worked pretty well for me so far.
