Thanks Encore! I have 50 Pitman so will see how they perform. I have veggie wads, but did not use them on those shots. What is your experience with wads? Worth it?

Got my rig! Mounted a Zeiss V4 6x24 on it.. shots 6-8 after zeroing the scope, shot off bipod (Harris) on the ground.. 112 grains of BH 209, Arrowhead 300 XLD @100 yds - 2508 FPS. Next time I go out, will let 300 Pitman aeromax fly - Atlas now mounted- hope to get all three in the same hole!

SML powder not allowed in NM or AZ during ML season. Which is pretty stupid, the most accurate powder should be allowed- I have witnessed a hunter shooting ML with black powder MUCH further than they should..

For those that have run BH 209 down their SML rig, what results you getting and how many grains by weight?

I got one mounted on an older rifle - optically it's perfect - it does have some marks and a small dent in the turet cap. It has the mil dot reticle. I can text pictures to you- shoot me a PM. Thanks Andy
