3550 fps with the 143 in a 280 Ackley? I am pushing mine hard to get 3250 fps with 140 gr VLDs out of a 26" barrel. What am I missing?

JBM Ballistics has always been my go to for comparing ballistics, answering what-if questions, and more. Every time I try to open their web site, it just sits there and spins. Does anyone out there know what's going on? Thanks.

My wife and I both shoot Remington 700s in 7mm-08. Great little cartridge! I agree with using H4895. I am trying to find some Winchester StaBall 6.5, that could provide additional velocity. I do not recommend the Nosler BT! They were redesigned years ago, when the originals did not open up...

Got my Rem 700 Classic in .35 Whelen years ago. Talked to Bob Milek in Thermopolis, WY when he was still alive. Bob Recommended H4895, and it gave wonderful accuracy. Tried RL15, and it supercharged the Whelen! Picked up an extra 200 fps!
