Know of any places closer to Southern California?
Went to Silgman AZ last year- was OK, not great - cloudy days kept em' in most of the time. Shots were from 50-100 yards plus - not many over 400 yards (places).

Ever consider installing a muzzle brake?
You can get a removable one.
When hunting - remove it.
All other shooting keep it on.
Yes, we're all wearing our "ears" around him!
My shooting buddy has a 6.5 Creedmoor w/a muzzle brake.
Great combo.

Lamar,
I do not believe I am "registered" for the scope.
Yet every time someone else applies I get a notification.
I can't find my original entry to modify it.
First, How do you get a pin on the map for yourself?
Second, I responded to the contest - now I'm getting 3-10 emails a day connected to the contest.
What did I do wrong?
Thanks for your ideas.
BIG question is seeing ground squirrels at 800 yards.
I used my 6.5 x 20 on PD's and had a difficult time seeing them at 800 yards.
I'm betting on two things:
1. more magnification
2. better scope - more clarity.
