Welcome to 2024 at Camera Land

All sounds good. I hope that 2024 is the year you recommence freighting to your loyal over seas customers. It would be great.

They're back at it on RS. .223/5.56 using the 69 gr TMK on game!

The great thing about the RS thread is that it's mainly about application and results rather than theory and conjecture. A point that ought not be missed though is that there is actually a cluster of bullets that perform similarly - the 73/75/80 ELDM and 77TMK (and such like) and then another...

    300 SAUM

Norma make 300saum brass. Best powders in mine have been N550 and R17 (150 grn through to 170). Comfortable 3000 fps with 168 Nosler BT and 20" barrel. Very accurate. Nothing not to like about the 300saum.

    .257 rob

I'm using 115 grn Nosler BT through my Kimber Hunter. 2950 fps (R26 powder). Very accurate. Kills them near and far. Quite a lot of meat damage with closer shoulder shots. This one was 80 yards and the bullet passed through. Exit in pic. Ran about 20 yards dead on its feet. I couldn't get the...

Lightest smallest Suppressor? MT rifle build

I have several suppressors and none of them are longer than 4” forward of the muzzle. It makes them far less obtrusive and handier. The suppressor does though come back over the barrel a few inches from the muzzle making it about 8” over all. The brand is DPT - made in NZ. Most of my barrels are...

Lightest smallest Suppressor? MT rifle build

Are you saying that it adds 7” to your over all barrel length?? And that is “handy”??

What is the best tasting deer species

To comment on this accurately you would have needed to have sampled all species. Of the several species I have tried Fallow has been the best. Sambar the worst (very grainy).

Lightest smallest Suppressor? MT rifle build

I use one to protect both my hearing and my dogs'. It makes sense to go as short and light as possible so long as it is effective. For me that means no longer than 4" muzzle forward. To accomodate the suppressor I have cut my barrels to 20 & 22 inches. Ive been able to claw the lost velocity...

The Most DISSAPOINTING Bullet there ever was...

And that's the crux of it. They are just a lump of lead and copper (or copper) and can all do unpredictable things. They are shot into animals at all sorts of ranges, angles and speed. They are shot into fatal places and non fatal. The margins are small and variables huge. And we complain about...

The Most DISSAPOINTING Bullet there ever was...

The Nosler 7mm 120 grain BT is one of the best performing bullets ever in its class.

The Most DISSAPOINTING Bullet there ever was...

To say that with any sort of credibility or authority you would need to have tried every kind of Barnes bullet and be able to quote the particular failures.

    Jp sauer 6.5 prc

Sorry, wasn't trying to catch you out. It does seem unusual that their cheaper 100 model is screw in and their more expensive are pressed.
