I've used and still use powders that I've had for decades with zero issues.

I like the 150gr Nosler Ballistic Tips for both 06 and 308 Winchester.

I've been using Superformance with excellent results with the 143gr ELD-X. It's relatively forgiving cartridge. The twist rate is key, and as always, your rifle may have preferred loads.

I do have more than one of each, and I do prefer the 30s, but for essentially all game on our continent, and at the typical ranges shots are taken, either will do the job of we do ours.
