Another question; for a packable rifle in 33xc, how light would be practical while still being able to reach way out?

I really appreciate all the replies! I definitely want to go with a heavy duty action, but even though this will be mainly shot prone or from a bench, I would like to be able to pack it up onto a Hill or mountain somewhere for hunting so I was thinking of keeping it in the 14 to 16 pound range...

I was going to contact Kirby Allen about a 338 Allen Mag, as I have been drooling over those for a few years now, but ordering a complete custom rifle is a little outside my means right now. After some limited research, that big Surgeon might be what I'm after. It seems very solid, but I'm gonna give stiller a look also.

Does anyone know if the Kelbly Nanook is suitable for the 33xc or should I be looking for something heavier?
