Hello Shooter... I was always taught to NOT "cycle" clean the bore simply becasue any fouling or microscopic debris can cause eventual damage to the rifling. I have always carfully run the rod, preferably non-metalic down the tube and then insert a clean patch with solvent and pull it back up...
