Well I ended up beating my buddy to it and bought one in 6.5prc. It’s a joy to shoot and shoots very well for me/son. We got it dailed in and now he has one deer under his belt with it. Just an FYI the match ammo flat out shoots and drops them with a baseball size exit hole.

I have one and its one of the best HUNTING shotguns I have used. Being a guide and seeing all different types and brands this is one the goes bang every time. Spray the action with a little dry lube and it will preform flawlessly if it is anything like mine.

I'm looking at buying my son a 6.5 for hunting and getting into some long range shooting. I have been told that for a stock gun this a VERY nice rifle. Anyone have one and have any impute on this gun? Thanks Mike

Thank you guys for the comments. This was a mad rush to get it done so we installed a bolt out of another Rem and had the local smith do the head space work. Shoots just as good as before so the kid will let lead fly in Wy this year.
