hi, I have a 270 savage 116 long action. I just had a barrel made for the 7mm rem mag I would like to put on this action. the only thing I can see that I would need to do is change out the bolt face. would I also have to change the firing pin? thanks, nate

Hi guys, I am in the market to buy a long action for a savage 110-116. I'm looking to buy a brand-new action for one that was maybe used a couple times. If possible I would like the ball to have a magnum head on it. The rifleman building is for 7 mm rem mag.

Here is a video of the rifle shooting 636 yards at coyote target, 1,000 yards, and 1,525 yards at a 18" wide target and 32"x32" target. I also took it out to 1,780 yards and did hit the 32x32 plate but because of the cold my camera died. I will be heading back to VT to do the shoot over again...

God only know how many hours I have in building that stock.

I am also using a 162 ELD-X with 53.5gr of IMR 4831. Ave fps is 2840 in 30 degree weather.
