My new gun!!!!! I’m so excited about this, join me! 🤣

I works great with stick powder, I was finding a load with Hammer bullets and no signs of pressure yet so I got the drop tube out and I added 1gr at a time up to 4 more grains in my 300WM before pressure started to show. I was already above max when I started with the drop tube, but again no...

btw I meant to ask you, have you ever used one of those funnels with a long nose on it, if not you can get about 4 extra gr of powder in a case if you're using stick powder. Idk if it'd make any difference on ball powder since I haven't tried it, but I doubt it'd make that much difference.

My new gun!!!!! I’m so excited about this, join me! 🤣

With all this talk about big bore this and that, if y'all remember I have a rocking 458 chrome moly barrel with a brake sitting around doing nothinggggg, btw it fits a Rem 700 action. I forget the load I had developed or did I just fill the case and shove that Barnes Solid 500gr bullet until it...

My new gun!!!!! I’m so excited about this, join me! 🤣

I made a 458WM for an African hunt that I never went on, the rifle sat in the gun vault for 20 years until a couple of years ago, I made a 300WM out of it. I do have a bad shoulder that can't take the punishment so I put on a thick pad and built my own brake for it, which controlled the recoil...

TARGET BULLETS ARE NOT HUNTING BULLETS!

I used to use them in my 7mm Express until one buck I shot almost go away. The shot was a broadside double lung, the bullet went between a rib going in and in between a rib going out, no blood trail at all. The bullet penciled through, the buck ran about 200 yds, but it ran into some heavy...

Why Hammer Bullets Are Always Faster

I have to agree with this comment, "that is not best place for a novice.", but for experienced reloaders it's a different story all together imo.

Why Hammer Bullets Are Always Faster

Engineers have made a lot of things safe(r), but I also have had on the ground experience with them and they are less likely to listen to anyone even if your comment/idea is provable better than theirs. With that said I'm not hammering on Lou and all engineers because most can do something that...

    Primers can make a difference.

Why Hammer Bullets Are Always Faster

I'm no engineer so that's that, but I do have a question an engineer can answer easily, even most laymen can. When talking about modern steel and brass, which one is going to show stress first, no matter how it's applied? If your answer is brass, which it should be, then what everyone is...

Why Hammer Bullets Are Always Faster

That's not bad advise for a novice reloader, but I do know the first signs of pressure, that being a heavy bolt or primer issues, and each rifle is different as you probably know. Before I started loading Hammer bullets I paid close attention to load data and even if I had not reached max by...

    Dead Meat 125 broadheads

Ever wonder why someone that goes after the big animals they use a fixed broadhead? I shoot a Matthew's bow, set at 65 lb draw, I've once used a Rage 3 bladed mechanical broadhead, I shot a doe at 25 yds, my video shows it should have been a heart shot, but the broadhead NEVER penetrated her...

May Want To Stock Up On Reloading Components

I guess if everyone doesn't agree with you then they need to sit down and shut up, that ain't going to happen. Everyone has their opinion, even you, me & everyone else on LRH, but in all the times I didn't agree with you I did not attack you in the forum.

May Want To Stock Up On Reloading Components

As I suggested if you're low on powder go big 8lbs to get what you need, swallow hard when you hit order and get it over with, same with primers, get what you can if you're out or very low, and then shop around for the bullets. I'd buy more primers just to have them if they weren't crazy, but I...
