noticed on some of my brass that the inside chamfer seems a little uneven. I use a Lyman case prep machine and usually place the case on the inside tool for 4 quick seconds, then the outer debur tool for 6 seconds. Obviously the difference looks more pronounced in ultra close up, but...

Update: got mine in today. Ordered in April.

If I had a 7mm rem mag or another 7mm cartridge, I wouldn't get a 7prc. But I don't, so I got a 7mm prc barrel for an old savage. And I've been having a blast shooting 500, 1000yds and even a mile (this summer was the first time I've shot to 1000yds ever in 25 years of shooting. )

Yeah, did you get that in the first batch release in May or so? I just missed that.

Anybody use staball 6.5 with 7mm prc? I have some and am curious if burn rate too quick. 26" barrel and 175-180 bullets preferred but might try 162 eldx if needed. Have been loading a couple hundred 180 eld m with 7828ssc and havr been able to get half moa at 500 yds. But not temp stable.

I bought some berger 180 vld, mainly just to test and shoot some long range groups with. When I've been doing some reading, I see people talking about hunting with berger vld and saying they do well. But can't tell if they are talking about a different version of the bullet like hybrid...

500 yard reloads test today. Had a hunch that the rem 9.5 primers were tighter grouping, as I noticed it at 100 yds but had only tested 1 group of 5 at 100. Tried it at 500 yards and shot round Robin. Win primer and then rem primer back and forth. Couldn't see results till I got down range...

Thanks will do! After the groups I went over to 500yds with factory 175eldx. Plugged in data in strelok and fired at the small unused plate. Then a follow up: Right on top of the first.

Went again tonight, but was a bit rushed. Chrono was too low, so had to alter shooting position to shoot through chrono. Let barrel get a little hotter, more tension in firing position. Still, good results around this velocity and powder charge. Sure it's not 3000 ft per second. But shoots...

Twice loaded hornady brass. Annealed torch and socket/drill 8 seconds at neck. Sized with hornady full length match bushing sizing die with short action customs .311 bushing. No expander or mandrel. Bumped a little too much (4 to 5 thousandths. Will reduce bump next time. ) Trimmer length...

Did some reloads 5 shots 4 shots on left, then I thought the 5th one would print differently, so I shot it at another target. (It was seated a little lower ). Turns out it would have been right in there with the others. Cheap chrono was acting strangely. Good loads at below normal speeds...
