58-59 grn of 15 with the 225 nos part is hard to beat as is 59-60 grn of varget with the same bullet. Both powders also work well in the .375 h&h as well.

Varget and rl15 are my favorites with either wlr or cci 200's.

If I could only have one cartridge to hunt with it would be either my whelen or my .375 h&h.

I have a Ruger m77mkll in 35 whelen. It has factory iron sights and the boat paddle stock, with aleupold vxll 2-7 (long version) it weighs 8#s with light weight sling. It's very accurate.

What did it wind up costing if you don't mind me asking? Does the mk.v need to be trued or are they normally good to go? What about the lugs? I can only imagine the pain of have nine to do.

If I were to build of off of it who is good at mk.v's? I was thinking a 26-28" stainless #3 fluted barrel and have everything cerakoted.
