Thanks JMG! Mikecr, looking for tips on starting seating depth for the node seeking ladder. I am not an expert reloader and find load development difficult. Was taught to find the node first, then do the seating test. Correct approach?

Been shooting my 30 Nosler with VLD 210s @ 3040 fps. Have heard about enough VLD failures that I am done with Bergers. Sad deal because they shot really well and my load was dialed. Just picked up 200 .308 ELDX 212s. Hoping for easy crossover! Shooting Retumbo, and have a lot of it on hand...

My first pistol for long range shooting is on it's way from Buds. CVA Scout pistol in 6.5CM, 14" threaded barrel. I've had a hard time finding much on shooting technique. Any leads? My goal is shooting steel to 500 yards and taking deer and coyotes to 300 yards, with bipod and rear bag...

On a recent elk hunt coming down a steep slope had the worst series of falls in my life. Wet snow over ice. Very bad day to be wearing Danner "air bob" soles. Feet shot out from under me at least 8 times, landed on my rifle too many times. Nightforce did not shift POI
