Does this just replace your traditional seating screw or does it have to be for a specific Hornady die?

I use CCI BR4 in my wife's 6.5x47 Lapua but CCI 450 on my 260AI with RL26 compressed loads and my 308 with RL17 compressed loads. Soon to try some BR4s in my 22-250 AI using 22CM Alpha SRP fire formed cases.

You would have to order the sort action with either standard or magnum bolt face and then buy a Lapua bolt nose separate and change it yourself.

N570 will get you the best velocity, H1000 will get the best barrel life but will be noticeably slower. Barrels are cheap……

I built a 6.5 SAUM to have the ability to push a heavier bullet faster but in a short barrel over say my 260AI. For example my 260AI runs the 142ABLR at 3000fps in a 24” barrel. My 6.5 SAUM Improved runs the 153.5 LRHT at 3050fps in a 21” barrel.

If Leupold has served you well in the past this will fit the bill nicely. And I just so happen to have one I’m about to list for sale. 😁
