    savage 110 .243 to 7mm or .300 wsm?

I think. Crap, I don't know. I was just on Savage Shooters reading about all this. Bellboy, Take a look at Savage Shooters forum. There's plenty of people there that will be more than happy to help out.

    savage 110 .243 to 7mm or .300 wsm?

Yeah, your right. I believe they called them intermediate actions. Savage used to make just the long actions. I think the long actions maybe the same screw spacing all together. As far as screw spacing, I think the only ones changed are the short actions. I don't have any of the new...

    savage 110 .243 to 7mm or .300 wsm?

Thanks for the info. I know that when the centerfeed came out the staggered feed stocks won't work because of the action screw spacing and the way the magazine is set up. Bellboy, You might look into the Remington Short Action Ultra Mags. I was thinking about building a 7mmWSM until I read...

    savage 110 .243 to 7mm or .300 wsm?

All the new model Savages(can't remember when they started, the last year or two) are centerfeed. The bolt isn't different. It's the way the mag, blind or detachable, is set up. On the blind mag models the mag is attatched in the stock itself, I think. If you can pull your action apart with...

    savage 110 .243 to 7mm or .300 wsm?

They're both about the best in anything to do with Savages. Plus they both are making stocks for the new centerfeeds and the precision actions.

    savage 110 .243 to 7mm or .300 wsm?

I would call Kevin Rayhill at Stockade gun stocks. He's a wiz in Savages and the WSM's. Really a good guy to deal with. www.stockadegunstocks.com

    Which .223?

I have a Stevens 200 in .223 I picked up for $200. I ended up putting a Bell and Carlson Duramax stock on it( a little work but worth the $90), cut and recrowned a factory Savage varmint barrel to 20" and put a Sharp Shooter trigger in it. That's one of the best shooting guns I have. I think...

    Konus M30?

I haven't used one but my local gun shop started selling them and they're not having good luck with them. A few of them aren't even leaving the store because of scratched(unpolished) lenses and the others are having issues with the adjustments quiting. The knobs are turning but the scope isn't...

    Savage Assistance Needed

Kevin is a great guy. I look at Savage Shooters forum alot and a bunch of people are talking about Sharp Shooter Supply and their backlog. Quite a few guys are getting the run around about delivery times on stocks especially. Not real happy campers. I tried to get ahold of them several times...

    Savage Assistance Needed

When I built my Savage .308 I talked to Kevin Rayhill at Stockade gun stocks. He had everything. Recoil lug, tactical bolt handle, bolt head, magazine box, everything. Best of all I had it in four days. He said If I ever needed anything call. Even on Sunday afternoon he said. Beware...

I was just currious if the Exbal for the Palm will download into the pocket pc's? Thanks, Matt.

The accutriggers take getting used to. Once you get used to them they're pretty nice I think. You could always get an aftermarket trigger and have the barrel cut and recrowned.

    varmint rifle

Why not a Savage model 12? The accutrigger is awsome. That's what my .308 is. I've got a Super Sniper 10x with a mil dot. More adjustment and clearer than a Mark 4 and only $300. $400 if you want the side focus. Just my opinion.
