The silencer is amazing but this is largely due to the bushmuffler fitted on it,its stops any resonance and disapates the heat better,its the best £10 i have spent.My mate who owns a Gunshop in leics(Simpsons of Shepshed )was with me on the Range when we set the Rifle up and he immediately...

Just set up my new outfit,which comprises of a Tikka 22/250 T3 Lite stainless with laminated stock,schmidt and bender 8x56 scope with 30mm tube and A7 ret,T8 silencer with Bushmuffler,Harris 9-13 bipod.optimate mounts and Butler creek flip up covers and sling,sorry about picture quality

My most used rifle is my .17hmr Anschutz with which i use Hornady 17grain ballastic tip ammo.My longest shot to date is 230 yards using leupold 6-18x40 scope with no wind at all.

The ammo i was using was 95 grain winchester supreme ballastic silvertip.!

I am new to this site,i live in the uk and currently have a Anschutz .17hmr,Anschutz.22lr and a Tikka 22/250.At what yardage do you class a shot to be long range?.The picture below (Hopefully)shows a fox shot in Scotland with a Steyer Manllicer .243 at about 180 yards
