Some think (wherever they happen to live) tyranny ‘can’t happen here’. Well, the greatest killer of people in the 20th Century (not even including combat troops killed in wars) - - was governments. They piled up 262 Million victims. And if you think “but those were totalitarian states” - you...

In America, the glue binding us is supposed to be the US Constitution and recognition that all men are created equal in the eyes of the Creator with unalienable rights. As Humanity has evolved, more people have been included in this viewpoint than in the past. (After all, even in Europe slavery...

I’m Definitely no expert on Finnish people, but from what I understand, Finland has a history even unique among European nations. They were a homogeneous nation, made up of people with very similar backgrounds, habits, and outlook. Finns always got along relatively well with each other. They...

I guess we’ll just agree to disagree on some issues and remain friends. :) I would love to visit Finland. I made it to Saint Petersburg, Russia but never got to go to Finland on that particular trip. I often order knives & knife making supplies direct from companies in your country.

2A dead ? Not quite yet, or they wouldn’t put so much effort into trying to convince us to agree to their killing it. Liberty exists in the hearts and minds of men. That’s why few Americans (especially from younger generations) know anything about our Constitution or the history behind it...

I don’t know a great deal about Finnish history. I’ve long been a fan of Finnish puukko knives and the M39 version of the Mosin Nagant rifle. I do know a little bit about the history of the Finns valiant struggle against the Soviets prior to WW2. I appreciate hearing your views.

Thank you for your reply. It’s very interesting to hear from people, especially hunters, from around the world. The 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution was born out of a historic background that rejected the notion that kings had the right to rule over men. The 2A isn’t about hunting or sports...

Thanks. Interesting link. However, the American founders never intended to create a ‘democracy’. They knew history (far more so than today’s politicians). They knew the dangers of democracies (two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner) and easily manipulated - so, they created a...

And the push against the 2A - no matter what the politicians’ rhetoric is - comes from the ‘leadership’ in both major parties. That is readily apparent when you look at what they actually Do, versus what they only say. - - The odds of you being a victim in a mass shooting is less than your odds...

    New Endangered Species Law

I’m for a balanced approach. Many of us hunters are also conservationists. It is hunters who saved many wildlife populations after being almost completely wiped out during the 1930s Great Depression. (People did anything to feed their hungry kids back then.) If not for hunter conservation...

Thanks for posting that. The cost of Liberty is vigilance. The opposition is using any method possible to destroy the 2A - We The People’s final defense against tyranny.

    Do you name your rifles?

I do cuss at them once in awhile. Does that count ?

    Do you name your rifles?

No, I don’t. If I named them, I might start talking to them. That’s just strange behavior. And nowadays who needs to give the busybodies any excuse to grab your guns ?!
