    Getting the Best Precision and Accuracy from Berger VLD bullets in Your Rifle

    Berger's with Weatherby freebore. Has anyone had success with Bergers in their Weatherby's given the excessive freebore? I'm loading for 300Wby & going to try starting with the maximum OAL length (max magazine length) & try to step back in .040 increments from that point. Any ideas?

    Baden Hams Brake

    I've just bought a 300wby with the Accubrake fitted, I'd guess it reduces recoil by 45-50%, I'd rate the recoil somewhere between a 243 & 7mm08. I'm pretty sure you can get your gun shop to order them through Nioa Australia & get your local smith to fit it.
