6.5 SST II Reamer w/140gr hybrid on a new barrel 24” @ 3000fps and new brass. No pressure with this load but start a little lower and work up if you are using virgin brass. Side note: I can’t believe they locked your thread on the 6.5SAUM Facebook page because you posted a 6.5SST rifle.

This is what I am thinking as well. I plan on switching to the 156’s after I have a decent load of 140’s to finish out the season. I will post my results when that happens. I would like to keep this thread going because of the great info!

Could this be because of virgin brass expanding more in the chamber when shooting closer to max loads? I am showing pressure sign around 3058 w/140 hybrid in a 24” barreled 6.5SST. 3048 would be max with a new barrel and virgin brass. I am thinking once I have 1x / 2x shot brass and the barrel...

Just wanted to add a little more info: 6.5 SST ADG Headstamped Virgin Brass 24" barrel / suppressed Fed215 Berger 140 Hybrid N565 60.3 - 60.5 right around 3000fps 3050fps starting showing slight pressure signs but its a new barrel and suppressed.
